Crown Princess Photos Now Online

I’ve just uploaded nearly 300 photos of my September 30th Crown Princess cruise to my photo gallery. It’ll probably take the whole weekend to name them and write captions, but I’m determined to get it done.

I’m hoping that these pictures will be helpful to anyone thinking about crusing on the Crown Princess, and especially to those people planning their first cruise. It’s difficult to know exactly what to expect if you’ve never cruised before. My photos are intended to help take some of the mystery out of it.

Let me know if you have any problems accessing the galleries or any of the photos. It took a lot of work to get everything behaving and looking the way I wanted, and I’m still testing for glitches. Feel free to leave your comments here.

Welcome and… Enjoy!

All I can say is thank you for such an amazing job. I have searched all over the internet and have not seen as many and such great pictures of the Crown or any ship, like the ones you took. You should feel very proud. I was going to take picture of the Crown to post but to be honest I don’t think I can do better. To include pictures of the laundry, the elevator sign, the safe in the room, you even opened the drawers so we could see, the toilet with the lid down and up….you thought of everything. Thanks again for sharing!

Super job! We’ve been on 9 cruises, 5 on Princess, and I don’t think I have taken that many pics on all combined. Enjoyed the tour, brought back memories. We will retire soon and need to start planning the Alaska cruise, with Princess, of course.

Really great photos! And I have to say your captioning is some of the best I’ve ever seen. Very, very helpful to the first-time cruiser I’m sure. I did want to let you know that the “pool or hot tub” that you mention in one of your photos is actually the hot tub in the teens only area called Chill Out. I’ve shared your photos with all the “Cruise Newbies” coming with us on the Crown in January. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for the time you took to post the pictures and the Patters. Seeing the Patters makes me even more excited to get on our Crown cruise in April!

Hope you have your next cruise booked!

Thanks for the Crown Princess photos! My camera was destroyed by a leak in my waterproof case on the second-last day, so I didn’t get to take photos of the ship that I was planning to on the last day-at-sea. Your set bascially completes our vacation album. Much appreciated!

Thanks for the great pictures! My husband and I will be traveling on the Crown the end of January ‘07 and our first ever Princess Cruise. Although we’ve been on Royal Caribbean and Carnival in the past, its always great to see whats in store for us on this new ship.

You did a great job! Kudos!

Thank you for your time and effort.
These pictures have increased my family’s excitement about our cruise coming up in April 2007. My fiance and I are even more excited because we have a balcony so now we know exactly what to expect. Great Job!

    Daniel,
Thanks for the great pics of this Princess ship. Loved all the extras, I do take the pics of some of the same you have on the Carribean Princess. We are going on a wedding cruise in August, these pics brought back memories of our last Princess cruise. Great pics for first time cruisers, but also great pics for veteran cruisers, we sometimes forget the things we take for granted on these ships! Great Job!!!

Holy Cow, those pictures are just fantastic. We will be sailing in December of 2007 and I can’t imagine finding better pix anywhere of this ship. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this for all of us!

Great pics. Thanks. I am planning to cruise the Emerald which is identical to the Crown How was the motion at the aft? Did you look at the aft balconies? How much larger are the caribe balconies…Are these the ones to book? On the Caribe deck? Or would B748 Baja be ok? Where is the best place to avoid lines ups for tenders? near the aft stairs? the elvators?

I and my entire family were on this exact same cruise with you. I even saw my father and mother in the background of some of the photos that you took. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane. We loved the Crown and are looking into another Princess cruise as soon as possible. Thank you for posting your pictures; I forgot how truly magical that week was.

We are considering this ship for summer and I loved browsing your pics. Even though we have been on many cruises, you had shots of the things I really like to see and they were excellent shots with equally excellent tags. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this–it is so appreciated! The cruiseline could take some tips from your shots!

greetings, congrats on your hard work on building this web site, your pics are crisp and clear.
I did notice however, that when you try to scale the size of the shower, you were using a point
and shoot camera. What camera did you use, with all the pertinate details please Fred B.

Thanks so much for the fabulous pictures. My mother and I will be taking a cruise in August 07 on the Crown. I’ve been searching for pics describing the ship, and these are wonderful.

Hello, I would like to thank you for an excellent job you have done. I have been on the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria and would of loved to have seen what you did for my cruise on the Crown this August 10th. Thanks

Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures. We are planning a trip on the Crown Princess on Aug 1, 2007. As we have cruised in the past with several of Princess’ other ships, we are very excited and looking at your pictures brought back many memories and gave us much excitement as we anticipate our upcoming vacation. Wonderful job!

Thanks for the excellent photos – especially some of the “little things” like the signs, laundry room, the prices for laundry, internet access, gelato. Also thanks for explaining things in your captions – like the International Cafe has free pastries in the morning. From Princess’ website it’s hard to tell these things, it seems they only have bits & pieces of information and now your information helps fill in the gaps. Thanks for helping so many people out by sharing!

Your website (Crown Princess photos) were exactly what I was looking for! My wife & I just booked a Crown Princess cruise (Eastern Caribbean) March 8th 2009 and are very excited as it will be our “first cruise”! We’re cruise virgins! Thanks so much for your photos – they give great insight! Cheers!
